Battle of Cedar Creek Commemoration Weekend

Belle Grove Plantation and our partners in Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historical Park will commemorate the 153rd Anniversary of the Civil War Battle Cedar Creek on October 14 and 15, 2017. Belle Grove will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday with living history interpreters. Admission to tour the Manor House will be discounted to $5 for those 12 and older and free for those 11 and younger. Programs and demonstrations on the grounds and parking will be free. The Museum Shop will be open for all touring hours.

Please note that due to security concerns, there will be not a walking path from Belle Grove to the Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation property where the reenactments will take place. Spectators and reenactors will need to drive in their own vehicles between the two sites and where free parking is available. Tickets for the reenactment are available online and will also be available at the Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation property entrance. The reenactment admission will allow visitors to leave and have reentry that day.
