Learn about the many uses of lavender throughout history to modern day from antiseptics to culinary. We will touch on the many different varieties of lavender then hone in on what varieties grow well in our area and what conditions help them thrive. Crafting demonstrations will include how to make a small wreath, sachet and/or a dried wrapped bundle. Participants will then be able to make the craft of their choice to take home. If space allows, we will also accept walk-in registration for $30.
Registration fee is $25.
Deadline to register is Friday, September 1.
The Barn Series of Gardening Lectures & Workshops for the Shenandoah Valley Gardener
