Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day

Come to Belle Grove for Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day! Museum Day brings together museums, zoos & cultural centers from all 50 states to offer free admission. Museum Day represents a national commitment to access, equality, and inclusion.

Belle Grove's Manor House will be open for touring at no charge. Get your free online tickets here.

This is a great opportunity to also see an exhibit about the archaeology at the enslaved quarter site "Unearthing Enslaved Lives at Belle Grove" and to visit with artist-in-residence, North Carolina furniture maker Jerome Bias.

Belle Grove is a partner in Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historical Park and there will be a free ranger program on the Belle Grove lawn at 11:30. The NPS Visitor Center will also be open that day 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at 7712 Main Street, Middletown, VA 22645. Visit www.nps.gov/cebe for more information on the Park and its activities.
