Wayne Sulfridge and Kristen Laise will share what Isaac Hite’s Commonplace Book records reveal about the individuals enslaved at Belle Grove.
On Thursday, June 23, noon-1 p.m., Belle Grove Board Member and researcher, Dr. Wayne Sulfridge and Executive Director Kristen Laise, will present how their transcriptions of Hite family documents have revealed new details about the men, women, and children they enslaved and how enslavement operated at Belle Grove.
This program will be presented in person (check in at the Welcome Center when you arrive) and online (click here to receive the link).
