A driving and outdoor walking tour of historic homes and properties in Belle Grove’s own backyard, many not open to the public. This four-hour tour will include a break for a hearty picnic lunch.

Meet at Belle Grove for coffee and pastries, then we will caravan to the Stickley Farm, take an exterior tour of Fort Bowman, and Mount Pleasant. Then we will return to Belle Grove for lunch and touring on the property and then we will end with an exterior tour of the Heater House on the neighboring Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation property. Belle Grove docent John Adamson will be our guide and we look forward to the homeowners telling us about their properties too.

Attire: Casual. Wear sturdy, closed toed walking shoes.
