Park Day Volunteer Event

On Saturday, April 10, 8 a.m.-noon, Belle Grove will again participate in American Battlefield Trust's "Park Day," which encourages community members to come out to National Parks to volunteer on a work project. Thank you for registering to join us at Belle Grove in Cedar Creek & Belle Grove National Park!

The two tasks we will work on are brush clearing of the fence line and fence painting at various areas on the grounds. Please note both tasks are weather dependent and we will reach out to you with updates as the date approaches. Tools and materials will be supplied by Belle Grove and volunteers are welcome to bring there own (especially pruners and loppers).

All activities can be done in a socially distant manner. Please be prepared to wear a mask so that we keep everyone safe. We ask volunteers to wear comfortable work clothes, closed-toed shoes, and bring a pair of work gloves. This project is not suitable for children under 12  and any volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult.

Coffee, water, snacks, and lunch will be provided to the volunteers and American Battlefield Trust will be providing a complimentary water bottle as their thanks!
