Handmade Brooms and Dried Flower Decorations Workshop

Did you know you can grow broom corn and make your own broom?  Or grow flowers that will dry beautifully and decorate a broom?  This workshop conducted by Lynn Hoffmann will instruct attendees on how to decorate a handmade broom.  These brooms can be decorated as a beautiful accent piece for your home.  The handmade WV traditional brooms will be available for purchase from WV Broom Barn of Kirby, West Virginia. If you want to use a handmade broom, you must purchase the broom at the time of registration.  You can bring in your own broom if you choose and it is recommended that the handles be of a medium size.  The brooms are pictured at right or may be seen at WV Broom Barn. The class will be held in Belle Grove's Beverley B. Shoemaker Welcome Center (barn). 

Registration is $15 and the cost of the broom is an additional $25. Registration is required.
