Belle Grove is closed for the winter and will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. During the winter months, dawn to dusk, guests may still walk on the property and the trails. Our offices are typically open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., please call 540-869-2028 to confirm.

 Join us at the Winchester Little Theatre for a special preview of Becky's New Car. Belle Grove has reserved the theater just for our guests!  

Come learn about memorial quilts that will honor the 270 individuals enslaved at Belle Grove from the 1780s to the 1860s. Community members are now invited to participate in the quilting process. No experience necessary! 

Enjoy a gentile afternoon tea in the Regency era at tables throughout the Belle Grove Manor House.

Belle Grove Plantation will be closed on Sunday, April 20, in observation of the Easter holiday. We will reopen on Monday, April 21, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

After 29 years of great beer and music, Belle Grove's annual Of Ale & History Beer Fest on the second Monday in May has been retired. The increasing costs of the event no longer make it a viable fundraiser for our non-profit organization. Belle Grove sincerely thanks the patrons, sponsors, volunteers, beer distributors, brewers, musicians, and vendors who made Virginia's longest running beer festival so much fun. Since 1996, the event raised almost $600,000 for Belle Grove's education programs and preservation projects.  

Belle Grove is creating a newly expanded Wine Fest on Saturday, August 23, 2025 that will be a grand celebration of Virginia beverages showcasing the best of our region's wines, ciders, spirits, and beer.
